Fall semester begins (for me) in sixteen minutes.

Forecast for this semester: partly sunny; cool with occasional posting. It’s not even fall yet and the weather is already mocking us with 20°C weather.

The thought of having to buy more books this semester (sigh) is leading me to draft something on “textbook connoisseurs”. You know those people who say things like “Morrison and Boyd is terrible, this book by McMurry is better”, but seem to have read neither book?

In other news, the rumor mills have turned out to be correct; Google has just launched an IM protocol called Google Talk, which appears to a non-expert like me as Jabber in disguise, but with VoIP. w00t! Talk to me at eliadiodati@gmail.com, if I’m around.
