Finally finished that undoable take-home exam.

Finally finished my term paper, where I made the most brutal approximations to prove what my boss thought wasn’t provable. (It’s too crude, that’s probably why he didn’t think of it, heh…)

Finally I can get round to planning my conference trip to Kyoto. I have to steel myself from relentlessly planning my itinerary and actually do some science and update my poster. Looks like I’ll be just missing one of the Big Three festivals, the 葵祭 (aoi matsuri, hollyhock festival), but I might catch some kind of boat precession, the 三船祭 (mifune matsuri). Eh, good enough for me. Any suggestions on what to do there?

Finally, the local farmer’s market is going to be be in season beginning this weekend. I am looking forward to luscious strawberries and blueberries. Yay!

Oh, and it’s real cold outside. It feels like a mini-winter, although thankfully my arugula pot sitting out in my balcony didn’t freeze to death last night.
