This public service announcement applies to students on F-1 visas graduating with a degree in science, technology, engineering or mathematics at an accredited US institution.

Effective immediately, the US government will allow extensions of certain recent F-1 graduates currently on the OPT program. The extension will allow for a total of 29 months on OPT.

There are also some new rules for H1B applicants.
